This Just Happened

Violet was sassy.

Her daddy reached for the wooden spoon.

Violet said, "Umm.....Daddy, I have sum-sin to say to you. I'm gonna say, 'Yes, Sir.'" "Yes sir."

Ben was quietly contemplating this. I was trying to stifle laughter.

Violet looked quizzically at him and said, "Are....you sinkin' Sinkin' about it?"

Ben say, "Welllll.....yes. Yes, I am."


*Siiiigh* "Oh good."

And, she walks off.


I crack up.
