A Rough Beginning

Good Evening, Gentle Readers! It has been a long, long haul getting this blog set up. Not because google blogger is that complex, just---Windows is. Yes, I have been through installs, reinstalls, boots, reboots, system failures, system restores, and all kinds of crap in the last 3 days. Finally got a system working (temporarily) on a borrowed computer so I can keep up with all of you. Here are some pics for your enjoyment...and without further ado, I shall give you my first Real Entry. Sorry about the "down" nature of it--as you know, life is a bit of a Spa these days. What's that, you say? Soothing to the nerves, relaxing to the body, and restorative to the soul? No, dear Reader....the kind of Spa I am referring to is colloquially known as the Fat Farm. I have been sent to the spiritual Fat Farm to lose some serious weight, tone up my spiritual muscles, learn self control, how to trust God, and *bleah* how to WAIT.

The burn is a daily thing, it never stops. The heavy breathing is constant. The tears come and go, and the water (the Water) just has to keep flowing. "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
